Renewable matter it is useful matter, over and over again, and is the name chosen by the international circular economy magazine by Edizioni Ambiente to immediately convey the idea of innovation and recycling, of a world that can and must renew itself thanks to the circulation of ideas and projects. Because precisely with a view to the circular economy, not only tangible objects and resources but also good practices and proposals circulate.

Circular economy: what it means

We mentioned thecircular economy, as many today do. It is a term that is increasingly successful and it is starting to be difficult to understand what it really is. Better to clarify what it is about and in what sense it deals with it Renewable Matter. Until recently, the economy has always been "linear", that is, the classic industrial, market economy that we all have in mind, with logics that have governed flows of money, materials and people for centuries. The circular economy is an economy that is proposed today as an alternative and is based on a model aimed at reducing if not eliminating waste, at differentiating the sources of material supply and making consumer products "long-lived". Other than planned obsolescence!

Some experts such as the architect Walter Stahel, the physicist Amory Lovins, the designers McDonough and Braungart, with the green economist Nicholas Georgescu-Roegen, observing how the linear economy would lead us to ruin, have found and propose, not alone , this different mechanism that has various positive repercussions, even on our daily life. For example, it allows us not to waste, to lower the rate of pollution from fossil sources, to promote recycling, eco-design and renewable energy.

L'circular economy is a world to explore, if you haven't already done so, by diving into the pages of Renewable matter bearing in mind the three pillars on which it is based: the rediscovery of deposits of discarded matter as a source of matter, the end of the waste of use of the product and the stop to the premature death of the matter.
